What will I see on the 2-hour tour? Tour highlights include Downtown, Greektown, Campus Martius Park, the Stadium & Entertainment District, Midtown, Cultural Center, Eastern Market, Detroit RiverWalk, Belle Isle and the Heidelberg Project, as well as Local Art, Architecture, Landmarks, Legends and Lore.
Note: Please don't wait until the last minute to make a tour reservation as we sell out almost every day. Tour pick-ups times and route may vary slightly due to traffic conditions and local events.
Do you make any stops on the tour? Yes, rest stops and a photo opportunities can be provided (if requested). We do have many points of interest to share in two hours, so we tend to keep the tour rolling along. We also point out top restaurants, bars and attractions that guests may want to visit on their own after the tour.
How much does the 2-hour chauffeured daily tour cost?

Will there be other guests in the van with us? Yes, these are public tours and the vans accommodate up to six passengers. Private and custom tours may be arranged by contacting us 24 hours in advance – and are subject to availability.
How do I make reservations? Reservations for the daily 10 am and 1 pm tours must be made by calling 313.444.2120. Drivers check for messages frequently, so be sure to indicate if you are inquiring about availability for that day.
Do I need to pay in advance? How do I pay? Advance reservations are necessary and must be secured with a credit card at the time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and debit cards. Email or written receipts will be provided by the driver.
Can I book a tour online?
We don’t offer online booking because we like to have a brief
phone conversation with our potential guests to better understand their
interests, location, schedule, etc.
What is your cancellation policy in case our plans changes?
Full charges apply to no-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
Where do you pick up and drop off passengers? We pick up our tour guests at a number of well-located Downtown and Midtown venues. We discuss the best pick-up location for guests when reservations are made. Please plan to be at the designated and pre-confirmed location at least 10 minutes prior to scheduled tour time. Unless otherwise requested, passengers will be returned to their original starting location.
How long do your tours last? Our daily 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. chauffeured tours last about 2 hours. Custom tours can be personalized to your interests and schedule.
How large are your vans? Our well-appointed tour vans seat five passengers comfortably and possibly six if needed – fully licensed and insured.
Do you have larger vans or buses? We can arrange for larger vehicles to accommodate your group upon request (subject to availability). Please call us well in advance of your tour date to discuss options and costs. 313.444.2120
Are your tour vans wheelchair accessible? Unfortunately our vans cannot accommodate wheelchairs, but we may be able to secure a special needs vehicle at an additional fee. Please call 313.444.2120 or email Info@ShowMeDetroit.com for more information and a quote.
Each van is equipped with a step stool for boarding assistance.
Can you arrange private tours? Yes, we are happy to discuss a personal Downtown Detroit tour for your party or group. Please contact us for more information.
Do you offer Tour Gift Certificates?
Yes. We can issue a custom gift certificate for any occasion and charge it to your credit card. The Gift Certificate can be mailed or e-mailed at your request. The recipient(s) can book a tour at their convenience.
Do you offer language interpreters for foreign visitors?
No, but we can refer you to a local company which does
